The restaurant La Posada de Los Habaneros is located in the Hotel Los Habaneros in Cartagena.

History

The origin of the establishment dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, coinciding with thesplendor of mining in the Sierra de Cartagena - La Unión. Two Spaniards who hadreturned from Cuba they established an inn next to the old Puertas de San José, whichIt was the entrance to Cartagena for all those who came from La Unión. From here theorigin of the name of the accommodation. "Los Habaneros" is a very endearing establishment among the local population, since hereMany people from Cartagena and Cartagena have celebrated important moments in their lives,

In 2019, we took advantage of a complete renovation of the hotel cafeteria and restaurant to reopen these facilities. In homage to the origin of the establishment, from then on, the restaurant is called La Posada de los Habaneros.
